Pwll Farm has won the Best Extension & alteration to an existing home in Pembrokeshire for 2014 and
was Crowned the WINNER of the Best Extension & Renovation to an existing home in all of WALES for 2015 & is also featured in the 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine Autumn 2015 Edition.
Large scale extension, renovation and upgrade of traditional farmhouse on outskirts of Newport. Original property underwent a single storey extension during the 1970’s. Including the creation of an outside swimming pool.
The new owners inspired brief was to create a welcoming, warm and modern family home. PCNP planners worked closely with us to enable a beautiful rear and side extension to be created, Oak cladding, sedum and lead roof coverings helped create the stunning space required but in a sympathetic design. Aluminium glazing units and a new feature entrance, Oak and glass staircase helped turn this home into a special place.
The entire property was renovated from top down, new roof coverings, lime rendering, decoration, heating, plumbing and lighting. Oversize floor slabs and quality materials have truly transformed this home into a dynamic and welcoming space.
The wonderful views of the flowing river and adjacent woodland are captured with the large apertures.
