Rose & Crown Restaurant Goodwick

The Rose & Crown is a restaurant, bar, coffee house and 5 bedroom B&B

The former derelict pub in Goodwick was in need of a massive overhaul. We designed 5 B&B en suite bedrooms at the first floor with extra sound proofing from the below pub and restaurant.

With a modern wrap around glazed extension to the rear (overlooking Goodwick Harbour) enough space was created for a couple dozen covers, new modern toilet facilities and large bar area.

The extension is clad in Accoya painted timber on a black background and frameless large windows create a wonderful raised eating area, with glazed flat roof over giving a view of the clouds and stars above.

The extension was built over the former 'bear garden deck area' and careful design was implemented to ensure the very tricky ground and party wall conditions enabled a large cantilevered extension to be built out over.
