Thatch Cottage Extension

Modern Link extension to Grade II Listed building.
The house is a grade 2 listed building but the site lies just outside Saundersfoot Conservation Area.
The house was designed by the Architect Kenneth Dalgliesh of London and commissioned by Mr
Vickerman as a wedding present for his son in 1925-6. It is described as an Arts & Crafts cottage in a
picturesque English vernacular style which has survived relatively intact.
KK Ltd created a modern, light weight glass link between the old original thatch home and more recent garage - the new extension and garage became an open plan kitchen, dining and garden room area, the former garage a bedroom.
The old kitchen in the house turned into much needed utility room.
Worked with the conservation officer and clients to create a low impact and sympathetic project.
Constructed to a high quality by the superb team at Coastbuild.
